Tiff's BARE Lean Transformation
by Leah Itsines
What I love about the BARE Guide and in particular BARE Lean is we're able to help women all over the world achieve their goals.
This transformation story I'm sharing with you today is all about progress over perfection and how small wins along the way, win the race over time.
Check out what Tiff had to say below.
"The postpartum journey is an interesting one, where you are suddenly no longer growing a human & you have to adjust to this new version of your body.
I'm not trying to get my old body back, because quite frankly I'm not sure my old self exists anymore, this is my new self & every day is a new evolving version of me both physically & mentally.
What a change in mindset can do for your life, to realise that your old self is just that, a memory, not something you want to go back to, when you have the opportunity to wake up each day & grow, evolve & bring new energy.
I'm focusing on appreciating the postpartum journey & doing it in a sustainable way with BARE Lean."
I can't wait to continue to see Tiff progress throughout her BARE Lean journey.. She looks amazing already!

Miriam's BARE Transformation

What I love about the BARE Guide and in particular BARE Lean is we're able to help women all over the world achieve their goals.
This transformation story I'm sharing with you today is all about progress over perfection and how small wins along the way, win the race over time.

"Slow and steady wins the race!
Strive for progress not perfection - something I tell myself all the time. Since I'm such a perfectionist but also want everything to be done NOW and fast, I have issues with patience and being graceful with myself.
Instead of judging myself for that bag of chips at a game night, or critizing myself for the things I didn't achieve this week - why not instead give myself grace because I prepped healthy meals for the week and give myself credit for what I actually DID achieve!
This is what I actually HAVE achieved over the past 4 weeks due to BARE Lean, which was better than what I had expected.
I've lost 2.5kg
I'm down 8cm in my overall measurements
I fit into 2 NEW pairs of smaller size jeans (pants)!!! Which would never have fit before
Not to mention I FEEL amazing & more energetic than before
Talk about mini wins hey @leahitsines!
This journey isn't about numbers & scales - it's about how you FEEL within your body! And I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, I'm back at working out again, my energy levels are on their way back up an my mood has been lifted by the amazing BARE community.
Looking to embrace a healthy change and make better food choices.. Get your own tailored BARE Lean guide today!"
I absolutely LOVE this! The fact that she has had so many little wins along the way in only just 4 weeks is an amazing credit to her dedication.

My Own BARE Lean Journey
by Leah Itsines
As some of you may know, I am on my own "weight loss" journey to feel a little "leaner" and more confident within myself.
Firstly, yes I'm on a "weight loss" journey myself, but please don't feel like for a second is about the "weight" on the scales, in fact it's not really about weight at all, that's honestly, just a number on the scales and to be honest, it's just the easiest way I know how to communicate the journey I'm on to YOU. For me, this journey is about how I FEEL more than anything.. Which is why every fortnight I have been checking in on my "non-scale goals".
It may not come as a surprise to you that I've actually being following BARE Lean throughout my weight loss journey. I have gone through the entire onboarding process, got my own individually tailored guide and have been eating from the guide over the last 3 months.
My back is still slightly injured, so I haven't been able to do the BARE Lean workouts much as of yet, however, I have been keeping active and following the recommended 5 days of exercise for 30 minutes a day, even if it's just walking on the treadmill.
WHAT ARE MY NON-SCALE GOALS
To fit into a smaller size of clothing (my old clothes!!)
To FEEL stronger in the gym (progression in my exercises)
To FEEL good in a bikini (just to comfortably lounge around in)
To FEEL lighter on my feet / leaner
To FEEL more confident in my own skin & clothes
To FEEL like I have more energy each day
I can't stress enough, it's not about WEIGHT or the number on the scales.. That's just another unit of measure. Whatever your goals are.. Add them to your "non-scale goals" so you can track them and measure your progress over your own journey.
WHAT ARE MY VICTORIES SO FAR
My morning wake ups are getting easier (still a slight struggle, but definitely getting easier)
Overall I'm down 6kg (again, not about weight but as a unit of measure)
I fit into this skirt I've been starting at in the cupboard for 2 years (and feel comfortable wearing it!)
I have been active & walking 5 x days a week for 30 minutes a day
I FEEL confident in front of Mitch (yes, this is an important one)
It's amazing the more progress I make, the better I FEEL. Remember, little wins add up to big wins, and it's all about progress over perfection!

Janine's BARE Transformation
by Leah Itsines
What I love about the BARE Guide and in particular BARE Lean is we're able to help women all over the world achieve their goals.
This transformation story I'm sharing with you today is about how Janine one of our community leaders was able to tick off some of her goals while only using BARE Lean for a short amount of time.
Check out what Janine had to say below.
I’ve struggled with eating and body image issues my whole life. I never thought I was good enough or that I was pretty enough. I felt that I had to be skinny for people to like me, which led to a terrible relationship with food. When I was 15 I suffered from bulimia and anorexia, this lasted well into my late 20’s. I can’t even describe how awful it was and the mental health issues that resulted from it. I felt like a failure and I was miserable.
In my early 30’s I wanted to have a healthier relationship with food and my body. I worked my way up from a couple days a week at the gym to going six times a week. But now I felt that if I wasn’t muscular or fit that I wasn’t good enough or people wouldn’t like me. I turned from not eating and purging to counting every calorie that went into my body and exercising a lot. I tracked my food and was very restrictive with it all. Then the crash came, because living that way was NOT sustainable. I mean, who wants to eat bland chicken, plain veggies and little to no carbs every day. I started eating junk again, but still tracking it all, which only made me feel even worse because I would see the numbers in the tracking app. I still wasn’t living the healthy life that I wanted and again I felt like a failure and I was miserable.
Fast forward to the day I discovered BARE. I can’t tell you how BARE has changed my life. I was already working to find a healthier way of living and eating. I wanted to learn to cook delicious food and finally stop counting calories (I had tried many times before to let go of that way of living without success). I was also working on my mental health, creating a more positive attitude and life for myself. BARE was that final pivotal piece that would catapult me into the life I had always desired. Delicious food that’s healthy and balanced, a community that would support me on my journey, the knowledge that I am enough, that living a healthy life that’s enjoyable is possible and most importantly - that I am NOT A FAILURE. I am beautiful and strong and I can do this! I’m finally living the healthy life that I envisioned for myself. I enjoy my food, I exercise because I enjoy it and it makes me feel good. I still have down days; days where I struggle, days I eat a bunch of junk and am lazy. These are the days I can reach out to the wonderful community and look for encouragement and support. I am so grateful for the friends I have made, and it’s true, I have made some genuine friends through the BARE community. It’s a place I feel safe and valued, where I can be me – struggles and wins, without judgment.
And now with BARE Lean, I cannot express how thankful I am for this product!!!! This is going to take my journey to health and fitness to a whole new level. As I age I know I need a little boost and I can have it all with BARE Lean. I still have access to healthy balanced and bloody delicious food and I don’t have to COUNT ANYTHING!!! The BARE team has taken all the stress out of it and calculated everything for me. Oh, and if I feel really hungry one day, they say, eat an extra snack from the guide if I need it. It’s so flexible. Even the amount of exercise is realistic, 30 minutes five days a week. And not only that they don’t tell me what exercises I have to do, just do what I love to do, I can do that. And if I don’t know what to do there is a list of workouts I can choose from in BARE Lean.
My journey isn’t over, it never will be, but BARE Lean (and BARE in general) is setting me up for a lifetime of success because it’s realistic, it’s easy and it’s enjoyable. Every day I learn to love myself a little more, to be gentle and kind with myself, to learn to step outside my comfort zone (try new foods and new exercises) and encourage others to do the same. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the BARE team! You are all a breath of fresh air, of positivity and encouragement. You have changed my life and I know you will change so many more in this world.
I absolutely LOVE this! The fact that she had changed her life around and has become more confident than ever but still acknowledges that it's okay to not feel okay and that her journey is not over. It's so good to see!!

Barbara's BARE Transformation
by Leah Itsines
What I love about the BARE Guide and in particular BARE Lean is we're able to help women all over the world achieve their goals.
This transformation story I'm sharing with you today is about how Barbara one of our community leaders was able to tick off some of her goals while only using BARE Lean for a short amount of time.
Picture on the left is Barbara at the start of her BARE Lean journey.
Picture on the right is just a month into her BARE Lean journey.
Check out what Barbara had to say below.
BARE Lean is something I really think is revolutionary. It’s rare to see females helping each other and loving each other when it comes to “diet” and food. All you see are diets, cutting certain food groups, counting calories intensely, or exercising 4 times a day.. but BARE is the first thing that I’ve seen on a mass scale of women trying to help each other, eat healthier, love what their eating and still be happy and healthy. And to not do it out of self-hatred or trying to look a certain way! BARE is really important in that way.
On my personal journey – I’m a nutrition major at university and seeing everything that I’ve been learning in class applied in the guide is amazing, because I constantly see cookbooks that are gluten free, paleo, etc – which I understand people may need for medical reasons, but other cases it can be so restrictive or extremely unhealthy. There is usually no middle-ground or delicious food. It’s either disgusting, but it will help you lose 50 pounds in a week. Or it tastes really good, but it also has sticks of butter in it. Eating BARE has been amazing. Especially on my BARE Lean journey, because yes I’ve lost some weight and I look better, BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY this is the first time that I’ve lost weight not to look a certain way or to please a certain person – but just to FEEL better with myself! Every time I’ve tried to lose weight before this, I have felt sad, depressed and hated myself even more because I wasn’t doing it in a healthy way! I honestly think BARE takes away that stigma of women having to hate themselves to lose weight. The “oh I hate how my body looks so I need to lose a few pounds” compared to “I like myself.. but I want to feel healthier and feel better.. maybe run a certain number of kilometres so I can be proud of myself”. This is the way I think BARE Lean is revolutionary.
If I had to give any advice to a woman who was about to start her BARE Lean journey, I would say – don’t overthink it! Just make the plan, make it special, incorporate the components how YOU want in your life, and don’t overthink the process! Don’t try to count calories – there’s a reason why calories weren’t given in the guide.. it’s so you can build a healthy lifestyle and enjoy what you eat. So my advice is if you don’t overthink every part of it, and just enjoy the amazing recipes and workouts, you’ll live your life to enjoy it! I promise you won’t only see results physically, but MENTALLY you will receive so many results! I could talk about it forever.. BARE is amazing! I would highly recommend it to any one!
I was lucky enough to have gotten BARE lean a little while ago and wanted to share my progress! Though you can see some physical changes (down 3.5 pounds and 3 cm on my waist!), I’ve also experienced some mental wins as well! This is the first time I’ve lost weight without calorie counting or obsessing over how fast I was losing it/ how I looked in the mirror. This is one month by the way. Thanks so much BARE team!
I LOVE this so much because not only does Barbara look amazing but she feels great too and is experiencing mental wins along the way!

Tess Robin's Transformation
by Leah Itsines
Something I love about my BARE Guide is being able to help women all over the world. While some of our goals might be different (weight loss, weight gain, maintenance) we also have many goals that are similar, one of which is to learn how to eat healthy, for life and actually FEEL HEALTHY.
This transformation story I'm sharing with you today is about how Tess Robin stopped focusing on a certain goal (weight - loss) and started focusing on how she actually FELT!
"LEFT: at the end of another flare-up from my Ulcerative Colitis which took about 3 months on an off.
RIGHT: In remission. Recent picture of me feeling the healthiest I’ve EVER felt in my life!! Trust me that’s a HUGE thing for me. If you’ve followed me since the beginning, then you know my one and only goal is to FEEL HEALTHY. Not to lose a certain amount of weight etc.My journey started in 2015 after being diagnosed with an autoimmunes disease. Over the years, through researching, trial and error, exercising with #bbg and #pwr, a LOT of physical therapy for my weak joints, I have come such a long way with achieving my goals.BUT I never (really) gave my relationship with food an actual change. Since I can remember I have had a terrible, negative relationship with food. Not because of weight issues or appearance but I just didn’t like eating or the fulfilled feeling. I did like binging on potato chips every night though..
When @leahitsines asked me to try out her BARE Guide I knew I couldn't say no! I mean, it’s Leah!! But also the concept and flexibility really spoke to me. As well as the message behind it; Balanced And Realistic Eating🌱. Which was exactly what I was looking for, I just didn’t know how..I started eating from the BARE Guide in February (left pic) right at the end of my flare-up and it was literally the best gift for my health! I haven’t seen a hospital since. I bounce back more easily after stressfull times, I have less migraine episodes, less bloating and less stomach issues from my UC! I have learned more on what my intolerances are and I have way more energy. Also looking back now, my relationship with food has became so much better! In short, if you want to choose health, energy, peace of mind, but also burgers and pizza 🙈 over measuring every bite or feeling drained and low in energy, I suggest to join the #barecommunity and change your life! Just like I did ❤️THANK YOU @leahitsines for changing my life! 💕
If you have any BARE Guide transformations you would like to share with me, please email it to info@leahitsines.com.au

STEPHANIE - @STEFITTIE
"Haven’t done a progress photo in so so long and decided to compare a picture of me now to an old pic of me and wow!! 😭 this actually made me cry! I am so proud of myself 🙈. This journey has been so stressful, a lot of ups and downs, but shifting my mindset with the way I eat has helped me A LOT!!!My recent eating habits have helped me tremendously. I AM SO HAPPY I DON'T THINK LIKE THAT ANYMORE!I have been using Leah Itsines' Balanced And Realistic Eating Guide @bareguide for my meals because it’s exactly what it stands for! I literally eat all my favourite foods and don’t crave cheat meals/days/weeks! This is such a huge step for me because I have always struggled with eating! 😭💙.Thank you so much Leah for creating one of the best guides I have ever seen & the most supportive community 😭💙 I LOVE YOU!To stay active and keep my body moving, I have been making sure I hit 10K steps at work, go to kickboxing 3 times a week, and I lift 2-3 times a week 💜
