Postpartum Choc Chip Cookies

These are the cookies that got me through labour! My doula Mel (@hellomama.doula) put these in the fridge after birth, and I was a RAT for them at all hours of the night. They're made with almond meal, buckwheat flour, brewer's yeast and collagen, then topped with a big choc chip and a little smear of Nutella.

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray.

  2. Mix the dry ingredients first, then add the wet ingredients and combine well until a dough forms.

  3. Wet your hands and roll 2 tbsp of dough at a time into balls. Lightly flatten on the tray (they don't spread) and press a big choc chip on top.

  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until browned.

  5. Once cooled, add a little smear of Nutella on top.
