How great are croutons? They're an amazing addition to a plain salad for added extra flavour and crunch.

Serves: 4-6 
Crust from 12 slices of wholemeal bread
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp fennel seeds
1 tsp fresh rosemary
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp parsley, chopped



  1. Preheat oven to 180C / 350F.
  2. Chop the crust into little bite sized pieces. Mix all ingredients into a large mixing bowl, coat evenly. 
  3. Pour into a lined baking tray and place in the oven for 15 - 20 minutes or until crispy.
